To be more humble, more giving, to be more well rounded, to open myself to others, and to realize that there's more to life than succeeding. I want to help others through music, and be successful.
Explain how this Experience affected You as a Person:
These experiences have made me grow in so many ways. I've went out of my comfort zone multiple times, I grew in theory, marketing, and music industry knowledge. I've grown as a performer, and I've learned how music affects me and others as well. Being on stage in front of hundreds of people, being in situations where I've had to improvise, networking, and becoming more selfless as a person are some of the most important things I've learned. For the only way to get anywhere in life is to bring others up, and they will bring you up with them. I see the world of musicians differently. I appreciate the hours of planning, practicing, communicating, networking and hard work that everyone puts into it. People that pursue music, are some of the most compassionate, hardworking, focused, most devoted and talented people that you will meet. This experience has impacted my character, showing me exactly what I want, exactly what goals I need to meet, and some of the routes I need to take to get to there. I have looked at plenty of videos watching people who have made it, watching their every move on stage and behind the scenes, just to get tips to use. I look at female bands in a way I never did before. When the female singers belt, they have to use a technique that I myself had to train to master, but is very, very, hard. The opportunities in my life have definitely had a meaningful impact on me. I have realized my purpose, and what I'm going to do.
